Transforming Cache Valley's transit system with a new name and brand strategy.

The client

Cache Valley Transit District (CVTD) has been connecting individuals to the people and places that matter most since 1992. Since its inception, CVTD’s annual passenger trips have increased from 450,000 to 2 million. The award-winning public transportation agency is dedicated to maintaining an exceptional public transportation system that contributes to the region’s economy, vitality, and sustainability.

The challenge

After years of expanding their transportation offerings, as well as expanding their service area beyond Cache Valley, CVTD needed a new name that would serve as a better representation. The primary goal a new name that better represented the organization and to tell their story in a way that would build excitement, loyalty and awareness. CVTD wanted a new brand that reflected their personality and introduced a brand icon that would resonate with riders of all ages.

The solution

Presenting, Connect Public Transit. Connection has always been at the forefront of their service so it made sense to adopt that as the new name as they continue to grow. With the new visual identity and website, we created a consistent look and feel across all internal and external communication channels. Our bespoke and systemic WordPress website can now be easily expanded as Connect’s service offering grows.
