Junior Account Executive

RUMOR Advertising has an immediate opening for a personable, curious, and energetic Junior Account Executive. As a Jr. AE you will assist the Accounts team in strategizing, developing, and implementing advertising and marketing projects for clients across a variety of industries. 

The ideal candidate will possess polished communication and organizational skills, the ability to think on their feet, critical and strategic thinking skills, and a curiosity to learn . As the Jr. AE, you will be coordinating project deliverables, project timelines, production management, and internal communication with various departments for media campaigns, social media campaigns, web development projects, branding and creative campaigns, and various types of projects requested by our clients. Responsibilities

  • Help manage the relationship between RUMOR and our clients. Working with other members of the accounts team your focus will be to maintain positive working relationships by providing superior customer service and excellence in all you deliver and do.
  • Manage the projects pipeline for each client. Establish and appropriate deadlines to ensure all timelines are met as projected. Coordinate with internal teams and clients to make certain we are on task and on budget. Verify accuracy of Scope of Work is accurate, complete and validate the final product matches the scope.
  • Provide marketing coaching and strategy for your clients. Become the expert on RUMOR services and help lead clients to the most desired decisions. Our clients are the experts of their industry, we are experts in ours. Be the bridge that helps our clients see the value, opportunities, and strategies that we implement and how that impacts their goals and objectives. 
  • Set and achieve aggressive growth goals. Identify opportunities to grow revenue and secure business that help all parties succeed. Assist the department in finding, developing, and engaging in new business and expand our services with existing clients. Take responsibility. Take ownership and responsibility for projects and goals. The success of our clients and our teams hinges on impactful work that is completed in a timely and cost-effective manner. Help set expectations, own the projects, gain experience in managing teams, learn from mistakes, and hold yourself and others accountable to RUMOR’s high performance standards and expectations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year experience in Project Management, Sales and Business Development, Marketing & Advertising, Communications, or similar fields. 
    • Bachelor’s degree or higher (related field of study preferred)
    • Years of experience may be substituted for educational experience in these fields
  • Basic familiarity with Traditional and Digital Marketing, Web Development, Social Media Strategy, Branding, and other areas of Advertising and Marketing. 
    • Don’t worry if you’re not an expert in all of these areas yet, we’ll help you get there. 
  • Possess an innate curiosity to learn. Be open to learning, have a desire to develop skills, be willing to try new techniques. Be a student of marketing techniques, tools, resources and strategy
    • Our industry is always changing and innovating. Be willing to learn, accept feedback, and try new things.
  • Be goal oriented. Challenge yourself inside and outside of work by setting and achieving aggressive goals.
    • Able to put processes and systems in place to achieve your goals
    • High level of understanding prioritization. Know how to prioritize tasks, goals, and objectives.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and achieve deadlines in a fast paced environment
    • You will help manage several large and complex projects as well as smaller short-term projects. Understand how to juggle multiple projects, streams of communication, and client goals.
